Check out our new location!

Casper Civic Chorale is on the move! While waiting for a time when we can be together to sing, the CCC board has moved our rehearsal space and storage space to the United Church of Christ located 1511 S. Melrose St., Casper, WY. This rehearsal space will provide better seating, better acoustics and a more comfortable place for CCC to rehearse in the future. We can’t wait to sing with you! As soon as it is safe we will restart our season. A big thank you to Dee Lundberg and the UCC Church for welcoming CCC.

Meet the accompanist!

Our accompanist, Bev Lorimer

Beverly Lorimer began accompanying for her church and high school choir in North Carolina when she was 15.  Her family moved to Casper during her senior year in high school.  She met Dean during college and, since he needed an accompanist, he asked her to marry him.  They now have three children and 15 grandchildren. She has accompanied vocal and instrumental students, choirs and musicals at the college, and both high schools for over 35 years.  She has been a soloist with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and played with the Moody blues and Kansas when they performed in Casper.  When time permits, she is a guest organist for the Bach’s Lunch recitals. She also published a book of easy piano arrangements for children’s hymns. She recently finished the requirements to become a Certified Residential Appraiser in Wyoming, and will be focusing her time and energy on appraising.  She loves playing for choirs, and is excited to accompany the Casper Civic Chorale.

Please welcome Dave Branson as our new Musical Director.

Our Mission:  Encouraging all to find the JOY in adult singing!

Established in 1972, the Casper Civic Chorale is a non-profit (1974), non-audition community chorus consisting of approximately 50-70 singers. As a mixed SATB choir, we normally perform two major concerts a year with a variety of accompaniments ranging from Chamber Orchestra to Pop/Swing Ensembles. It is possible that there may also be additional performances.

When rehearsals resume in the fall of 2021, they will be held on Tuesday nights, beginning promptly from 6:30PM – 8:30 PM.  Additional rehearsals will be scheduled as needed on Saturday mornings.    Any changes  will be published in the web-site and also announced on Facebook.

Performances of the Casper Civic Choral are made possible through membership dues, ticket sales, donations from its concert patrons, corporate sponsorships, and the Wyoming Arts Council in conjunction with the National Endowment For The Arts.
